It's like walking through Sligo with WB Yeats, through Derry with Seamus Heaney, even the harsh boggy wastes of Cavan and Monaghan with Patrick Kavanagh.

Those images are a long way from Benbulben and Lissadel House but I'm put in mind of the following;

Oh come away stolen child, from the waters and the wild, with a fairy hand in hand, for the world is more full of weeping, than you can understand.ciaranlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06668781624804602369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8649507973626411498.post-15258477125341544372010-10-21T01:44:46.451+08:002010-10-21T01:44:46.451+08:00This comment has been removed by the author.ciaranlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06668781624804602369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8649507973626411498.post-36149219193440615752010-10-20T23:46:36.919+08:002010-10-20T23:46:36.919+08:00Great piece of prose and fabulous shots - nice, ve...Great piece of prose and fabulous shots - nice, very nice work, my friend ;-)Nat Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02988451801046005601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8649507973626411498.post-29709494335353283082010-10-20T21:05:52.967+08:002010-10-20T21:05:52.967+08:00I just wish I could be there always.
