Domestic pigs gone feral, being omnivores they eat absolutely everything, including rare and much cherished frog species; apparently.<br />ciaranlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06668781624804602369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8649507973626411498.post-14001569718160685742015-09-14T01:27:52.436+08:002015-09-14T01:27:52.436+08:00I feel sorry for 'em. I had the same issue with coyotes here in NE U.S. Clowns would come around hunting 'em for sport illegally but under the pretense (perhaps their actual belief) that they were doing us all a favor. I confronted them on several occasions as what they were up to isn't legal here. (My property is surrounded by conservation land which prohibits hunting). One bozo in the passenger seat said: "It's all about having a good time". There you have it. Chasing down inncoent creatures and killing them is fun! What sport to point a gun at a living thing and squeeze the trigger. Pure gutlessness. The fact that one was hit near your driveway must have some meaning. Perhaps you'll become a protector of nature in your neighborhood? I established a good relationship with local environmental cops and haven't seen a poacher in several years since. They'll usually piss off to somewhere else where no one cares (or actually condones) what their up too. Someone has to speak up for nature...This has come to you for a reason. Embrace it! Best Wishes on the issue.
