Maybe Tom means there was a proper clear sky? I'm in despair here that we've reached the turning point just two weeks after I stopped wearing my ugg slippers and dressing gown. Much as I love the many good things about living in the hippy far north, late summers leave me anxious and cheated.

DeleteWishing you a happy winter solstice.
ReplyDeleteThank you Heron

ReplyDeleteYes I imagine that the winter or summer solstice become far more significant the further north or south we live. (sorry about your lack of a summer)
