Kimba's Downfall

She was named after the white lion who bounded across our fizzy screens in the 1980s. The other two are orpingtons that I inherited from Bob. They lay green eggs. Kimba laid brown eggs, until last week. She came unstuck, poor girl. That's what happens when you eat dog biscuts.

  2. Poor old Kimba ended up as a pile of feathers on Princess Royal Drive. I found her feet a bit further along the road. As those strange things in life happen, I was talking to my Dad today and he was the one who tied the same dogs up and called the ranger.

  3. Thanks John, for your acknowledgement of chicken grief. Finally someone (JG in this case) has stood up to say the words "CHICKEN GRIEF" instead of "Chicken Kiev" or something just as silly.
