Divine Wind

Last night at the old whaling station, the mayor of Albany helped launch Sea Shepherd's 2011 Antarctic campaign Divine Wind (aka 'God Wind', or 'Kamikaze', interestingly).

  3. SARAH: As a seafarer yourself you may know that porthole needs removal, rustfreeing, a new gasket and resetting. If there are any more like it on board then they need repair. They will let water and Antarctic air into those quarters. I served as a Navigator/Watchofficer in an icebreaker and that is an accident waiting to happen. But then of course that whole junky tired old vessel is one. Delighted you are having an exciting week though. I have not been in Albany since 1960.

    Good Watch
