Have I forgotten you?
A query, as the gathering winter makes the cool, sharp crack of my axe into a lump of swamp mahogany sound like a gunshot through the valley. The kangaroos quit grazing and stand on their hind two legs, lean back on their tails, listening.
And I thought your life was exotic Tom. The kangaroos come into the paddock next door in the evenings. They don't come over to our place, probably because we have dogs.
Haven't forgotten you either Sarah. Just thought I'd let you know that your assistance has born fruit. My blog is up and running now. I'm still playing around with bits and pieces and learning as I go along. Might check in with you again in future if there are things I can't figure out but so far so good. Now if I can just develop a writing style as poetic as yours... My blog appears under the title of athemefordaydreams.blogspot.com.au
You have the label to this post spot on. I love the little poetic moments you pass on.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ciaran. I nearly titled it something else until I remembered what I was thinking at the time ...
DeleteI meant the labels, beautiful things, momentary moments and truths. I noticed them for some reason this post , they fit..
DeleteInteresting. Originally my title was 'Have you forgotten me?' which I changed around a bit.
DeleteYou burn mahogany and kangaroos watch you chop it? How exotic.

DeleteLovely Sarah. I've been distracted these last many months. Back blogging today from Malta. In contact from afar.
ReplyDeleteYay! Hi Mr Hat!

Hi Crispin, your new blog is looking good already. Can I put it on my sidebar, where I stash all my reading links?
DeleteBy all means.
