  1. Looks good. How's the taste? No tiger trouble this time 'round?

  2. It tastes awesome Alex.
My fellow beekeeper went out this time, took the shack apart again and found no snake. I'm beginning to think that no one will believe me!

    1. yes it is satisfying, Michelle. It's learning about country. 'Robbing hives' keeps me up with what is flowering and when. This batch is quite different from the last one. It's darker but just as sweet (the sugar content is amazing!) I'm not sure what flowers the bees were working off but I'll always think of Honey Barbara, driving with her head stuck out the window, looking up into the canopy. Started doing that myself.
Now I just need a man who will plant me Groundsel.

  6. Yes! It appears so. The hive seems to be doing better.

  7. There is nothing quite like freshly spun honey. You make me wistful for my bee keeping days. And I love your honeygold tree tops. Beautiful.

  8. Thanks Janine. I do think of you when beekeeping, from your bits of advice when the shack became resident to feral bees!
