I've got a friend here who is Tasmanian and brought up in a corrugated iron-roofed hut. He said it was deafening when it rained.
Yes it can be loud, especially if there is no insulation. But it is also pleasing. Paradoxically, lovely to fall asleep to.
Love these pics Sarah. I have snaffled a few in the hope that you will let me use them for references, maybe textures/backgrounds. So I here to beg/seek permission (*grovels). They will just go in my folder for now as I have no project in mind, but I have a library of stuff I can use. If I use them for a commercial product I can give you some money - won't be a lot but....
